Lisa Monvignier studied piano, flute, and voice as a youth. After singing her way to win a local teen talent competition at age 17, she continues to concentrate on vocal performance. Her journey in jazz took flight in Paris, France in the ‘90s, where she was the vocalist for the APAS Jazz Band for three years.
Lisa's melodic voice, which has been described as joyful and soulful. Understanding the power of music to uplift and inspire people in times of joy as well as times of challenge, her voice and warm presence have made her a popular singer with music lovers from Paris, France to New York, New York. Performing with a variety of bands both big and small, Lisa has moved audiences with an eclectic mix of jazz standards, blues, chansons françaises, Nashville classics, as well as best-loved American & British classics spanning rock, folk and soul..
In New York, Lisa studied with Grace Testani, Nancy Marano, Amy London and Nancy Kelly. She has been invited to sing at functions held in prestigious venues that include Paris's Eiffel Tower and Toronto's Liberty Grand, New York's Cornell Club and the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers.
